Earl Randy Batton

Earl Randall Batton, known to family as Randy, passed from this life Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the age of 75.

Earl “Randy” was born November 8, 1947, to Earl Donald and Opal Christine Batton. He attended Hickoria Elementary, Knobel High School and Arkansas State University where he completed a degree in Elementary Education after serving in the US Marine Corps. He was very proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Martin, Sprocket and Gear in Paragould in 2018.

Survivors include his sisters Saundra Cecile Hatley of Corning, Karen (Bruce McDuffee) Batton of Paragould, Nadra Brotherton (Jody) Bennett of Harrison and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean Bennett Batton, sister Cheryl Dawn Batton, sister Mildred Jean Saak and his constant dog companions Sugar and Honey.

The family will provide floral arrangements and request any memorials be made to local Humane Societies.

Visitation will be Saturday April 8, 2023 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.
