Earline Sharp, 83, of Brockwell, passed away June 3, 2026 at Pioneer Therapy and Living Center in Melbourne.

Mrs. Sharp was born March 13, 1943 in McDougal. She enjoyed knitting and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Earline was a member of the Melbourne Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.

On February 14, 1979, she married Jerry Sharp. They were married 33 years prior to his death on September 3, 2012.

Survivors include her son Logan (Janice) Cozart of Southaven, MS; sisters Goldie Loggins of Brockwell and Geraldine Calhoun of Corning; step-daughter Tammie Sharp of Georgia; son-in-law R. J. Rainsweller of Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and 4 nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughters Becky McCranie and Julie Rainsweller; parents Willie and Rhoda (Beckwith) Payne; and two infant sisters.

Visitation will be held Saturday June 6, 2026 at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12 noon with James Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal.
