Mr. Earshal Landith Long, 97, of Reyno, AR., passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Long was born in Patton, MO., on January 21, 1920. He was a painter and a member of Local Union # 256. He attended Church of the Nazarene.
He married his wife of 71 years Mrs. Sylvia Inez (McIntosh) Long on December 8, 1940. She preceded him in death on November 30, 2012.
He is survived by five children Sharon Long of Reyno, AR., Mary and husband John Coito of Nipomo, CA., Earshal Long and wife Marilyn of Fresno, CA., Michael Long and wife Nicole of Yorba Linda, CA., Richard Long of Reyno, AR.; two brothers Lonnie Long and wife Carol of Los Alamitos, CA., Charles Long and wife Betty of Knoxville, TN.; three sisters Maxine and husband Lowell Myers of Advance, MO., Mel and husband Hank Eaker of Advance, MO., Geraldine Moore of Advance, MO.; two sisters-in-law June and husband Maurice Hamilton of Corning, AR., Lessie Robins of Advance, MO.; nine grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents Bland and Minnie (Welker) Long; two brothers Parks Long, Benton Long and one sister Nadine Robison.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM In the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, MO. Burial will follow the services at Morgan Memorial Park Chapel Cemetery in Advance, MO. A visitation will be held in Advance, MO., from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
