Eddie Halford

Mr. Eddie Leon Halford, 71, of Poplar Bluff, MO., passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Mr. Halford was born in Poplar Bluff, MO., on December 20, 1943. He was a retired security guard for Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, model cars, Coca-Cola merchandise and attending car shows.

He is survived by three daughters Shelly McCollister of St. Louis, MO., Dawn Zehner of St. Charles, MO., Crystal Hovis of Wentzville, MO.; longtime girlfriend Nancy Hayes of Poplar Bluff, MO.; two brothers James Halford of Poplar Bluff, MO., Larry Halford of Columbus, OH.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pamela (Roberts) Halford: his parents Gerald Austin and Dora Mae (Flanery) Halford and one brother Gerald Halford, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno, AR. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
