Edith Brewer

Mrs. Edith Brewer, 74, of St. Charles, MO., passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 at her daughters home in Wappello, MO. Mrs. Brewer was born in Pocahontas, AR., she was a homemaker, she enjoyed crotchet, crafts, flea markets and reading the Bible, she was of the Baptist faith.

She married her husband Troy Brewer on May 27, 1954, he preceded her in death on December 5, 2008.

She is survived by five daughters Roshal Chaffin of Wappello, MO., Ryvonna Brewer of Poplar Bluff, MO., Twyla Dowden of Troy, MO., LaDuska DeClet of Houston, TX., Edie Matt of Ozark, MO.; three brothers J.C. Spencer of Waynesville, MO., Dailey Spencer of Vichy, MO., Donnie Spencer of Pocahontas, AR.; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Earnest Harrison and Edith Lara (Byrant) Spencer; and one sister June Achord.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Libertyville Christian Cemetery near Fredricktown, MO. at 3:00 PM. Public visitation will be held Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
