Edith Viola Julian

Mrs. Edith Viola Julian, 97, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Corning, AR. Mrs. Julian was born Idalia, MO., on January 31, 1915. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She had been a member of the First Christian Church since 1934 and enjoyed attending service and fellowship with her church family.

She married her husband Joe Julian on September 17, 1932 in Moark, AR. He preceded her in death in 1989 after 57 years of marriage.

She is survived by one son Jim Julian and wife Mary of Corning, AR.; two daughters Jo and husband Don Richardson of Ocean Springs, MS., Mary McKinney of Poplar Bluff, MO.; seven grandchildren Myron Adams, Regina Coleman, Renee Hays, Randy Richardson and wife Connie, Kevin Bramlett and wife Traci, Rusty Julian, Angie and husband Leo Spano; fifteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren Tammy and husband Billy Rush, Taren and husband Terry Jackson, Denise and husband Chris Bearden, Robert Williams and wife Crystal, and Shawn Williams and wife Cassie; fifteen step-great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Joe; parents Otis and Mary (Pinter) Taylor; daughter Glenna Baker; grandchild Donna Green; brother Arlie Taylor; and a great grandchild Deanna Mique Coleman.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Burgess officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be hels Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
