Edith Maynard

Mrs. Edith Earline Maynard, 91, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Rector Nursing and Rehab Center in Rector, AR. Mrs. Maynard was born in Boydsville, AR., on June 23, 1921. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed attending church and quilting. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Corning.

She married her husband Samuel Maynard on December 14, 1940. He preceded her in death September 26, 1983.

She is survived by son Kenneth Maynard and wife Katie of Corning, AR.; brother Denver Page of Saint Louis, MO.; two sisters Dorothy (Page) Paule of Belleville, IL., Jean (Page) Huggins of Rector, AR.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents John Harley and Bertha (Poplin) Page and sister Verdie (Page) Whitehorn.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Cantwell Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
