Edna Corrinne (Leigh) Baker, 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 in her home. Mrs. Baker was born at home in Lonoke County, AR., on December 1, 1933. She was co-owner of Baker Pharmacy and worked with her husband for many years.

Upon completion of high school, Edna moved to Little Rock, AR., to work as a cashier at the U of A Medical School, where she met and married her husband Amos. They moved to El Dorado, AR., and had their children. In 1960 they moved to Little Rock and she worked as an accountant for JC Penny. In 1969 the Baker family moved to Corning.

She enjoyed going on camping trips, reading, playing cards and other games. Edna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Corning.

She is survived by her daughter Vicki Lee of McDonough, GA.; six grandchildren Jason Lee of Chicago, IL.; Dustin Lee of McDonough, GA., Brandon Lee and wife Pamela of McDonough, GA., April and husband Keith Haywood of Piggott, AR., Quincy Linthacum of Columbus, MO., and Lola Linthacum of Columbus, MO.; four great-grandchildren Kain Haywood and wife Nicole of Piggott, AR., Celeston Haywood and wife Taylor of Piggott, AR., McKenzie Lee of McDonough, GA., an Penelope Lopez of McDonough, GA.; and two great-great-grandchildren Gracie and Renleigh Haywood of Piggott, AR.

In addition to her husband Amos Baker; she was preceded in death by two children Wayne Baker and Valeri Baker; her parents Benton and Mamie (Baldwin) Leigh; and brother Doyle Leigh.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Josh Raspberry officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 1:30 PM until the time of services.

Her grandsons Jason, Dustin, Brandon and Keith, and great-grandsons Kain and Celeston will proudly serve as pallbearers.
