Edsel Crabb

Mr. Edsel "Ed" Crabb, 82, of Ash Flat, AR., passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at home with his family by his side. Mr. Crabb was born in Corning, AR., on July 10, 1937. He retired from Amerock Corporation in Rockford, IL., after 32 years. he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and telling stories.

He married his wife of 54 years Mrs. Mary Edith (Noblin) Crabb on June 5, 1965. She survives, other survivors include children Eric Crabb and wife Sarah of Phoenix, AZ., Jason Crabb of Ash Flat, AR.; goddaughter Lynnette and husband Gordy Hall of Illinois; sister Mary and husband Wayne Cox of Brookland, AR.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a multitude of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Phenie (Martin) Crabb; daughter Lynnette Marie; brothers Billie, Gordie, Tommie, Duell, Glen, and Leemon Ray Crabb; and sisters Doris and Lena Faye.

Funeral service will will be conducted Sataurday, December 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Floyd Ervin officiating. Burial will follow the services at Cantwell Cemetery in Corning with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
