Edward Wilcut, 73, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at home surrounded with his family. Mr. Wilcut was born in Butler County, MO., of May 27, 1951. He was a retired factory worker for Darling Store Fixtures. He enjoyed cooking, bowling, fishing, watching Cardinal Baseball, Green Bay Packer football and the old-time Pro Wrestling. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era.
He is survived by his companion Debbie Purdom of the home; children Kelly and husband Nick Brickley of Corning, AR., Travis Wilcut and wife Elisha of Kennett, MO., Lindsay and husband Trevor Keck of Corning, AR.; step-child Cheri and husband Darrin Johnson of Crockett, AR.; grandchildren Tyler Green, Austin Johnson, Braylee Brickley, Brianna, Baylee, Braxton and Blakely Wilcut, Kannon and Colbie Keck; and many other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Vida (Rapert) Wilcut; six brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Corning Cemetery with Military Honors.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyler Green, Kannon Keck, Jimmy Leach, Randy Bounds, Chris Leach, Andy Earls and Casey Wilcut.
