Mrs. Ellen Louise Briney, 71, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Briney was born in Neelyville, MO., on February 18, 1941. She was a retired assembler from Darling Store Fixtures and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons Jimmy Briney Jr., of Corning, AR., Donnie Smith; two daughters Donna Smith Malloy, Sonya Crossfield; one grandson Joe Crossfield; ex-husband Jim Briney.
She was preceded in death by her parents Norm and Fern (Brown) Dollins; two brothers Bill Dollins, Leslie Dollins and one sister Lorene Hatley.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
