Mrs. Eloise Lorraine Roofe, 60, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Saint Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. She was born in Corning, AR., on May 07, 1956. She was a homemaker, she loved her cats, she enjoyed flea marketing, shopping and surprising people with gifts. She was a member of New Beginning Tabernacle in Corning.
She married her husband Doyle Ray Roofe on October 18, 2009. He survives, other survivors are her four children Rachel Turner of Corning, AR., Charlie Highfill of Corning, AR., Kathleen Seratt of Nayor, MO., Nathanial Hollowell of Doniphan, MO.; three step-children Lea Landreth of Biggers, AR., Jeremy Roofe of Corning, AR., Chris Roofe of Marmaduke, AR.; two brothers Chuck Moore of New Orleans, LA., Gary Moore of Corning, AR.; one sister Charlotte Moore of San Diego, CA.; sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her parents Charles Loren and Kathryn (Strickland) Moore; two brothers Carl Moore, George David Moore; one sister Kathryn Beatrice Moore and a grandson Henry "Hank" Rogers.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Midget officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
