Emett Gunnels

February 20, 1930 — March 29, 2013

Mr. Emett Lee Gunnels, 83, of Knobel, AR., passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in
Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Gunnels was born in McDougal, AR., on February 20, 1930. He was a factory worker, he also owned a Pool Service Company. and Worked in Factories. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He attended the First Baptist Church in Corning.

He married his wife Edna Jeanine (Smith) Gunnels on August 27, 1976, she survives, other survivors include one son Gary Gunnels of Michigan; two daughters Betty Runyon, Bonnie Aschanbunner both of
Michigan; three step-sons Roy Whiting, Ray Whiting, Rex Whiting all of Michigan; one brother Denzil Gunnels; two sisters Bernice McDaniel, Maretta Ladish; twenty-six grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Marie (Suffin) Gunnels and one daughter Nancy Hall.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, April 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor Rusty Keltner officiating. Burial will follow the services at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
