Mrs. Emma Twiller Pulliam, 97, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mrs. Pulliam was born in Crowley, LA., on March 26, 1920. She was a retired Clay County Juvenile Officer. She was named Arkansas Volunteer of the Year and enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cooking.
She is survived by her daughters Pat Malone of Corning, AR., Annie and husband JC Morrow of Corning, AR.; five grandchildren Brenda Malloy, Paul Leonard, Jessica Willbanks, Kurtis Schmidt, Russell Riggan and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Pulliam; daughter Polly Schmidt; parents Lawrence and Iris Beatrice (Faulk) Kern; four brothers; three sisters; grandson Kody Riggan; and son-in-law Chuck Malone.
A private service will be held at a later date.
