Estalee Hawkins, 90, died July 4, 2011 at Corning Therapy and Living in Corning, Arkansas.
Mrs. Hawkins was born the daughter of Miner Smith and Hazel (Miller) Smith on December 5, 1920 in Datto, Arkansas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and reading the bible. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Corning.
On November 27, 1937 she was united in marriage to Burl Hawkins. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2003.
Survivors include one son Dale Hawkins of Pacific, MO; one daughter Barbara Nierman of Jonesboro, AR; five grandchildren Brian Hawkins of Pacific, MO, Meredith Crone of Jonesboro, AR, Kirsten Wyman of St. Louis, MO, and Sean Hawkins of Kansas City, MO; and six great grand daughters and one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother Ocie Smith.
Funeral will be Thurs. July 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning with Pastor Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Corning Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wed. 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
