Estell Brown

Mrs. Estell Brown, 93, of Osceola, AR., formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at Saint Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Brown was born in Maynard, AR., on January 14, 1923 the daughter of Fred and ldell (Bridges) Killough. She was a graduate of Biggers-Reyno High School. Her family was the most important part of her life along with being a farm wife with her husband, James O. Brown, who passed away July 30, 1996. She was a member of Corning First Baptist Church where she was a faithful and active member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. For the past few years, she had been living in Osceola and attending Osceola First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Fred Brown and wife Dana of Corning, AR.; her daughter Rebecca and husband Phil Beall of Osceola, AR.; four grandchildren Brandy Brown and wife Kelli of Jonesboro, AR., J.A. Beall of Boise, ID., Oury Beall of Wilson, AR., Micalah Beall of Starkville, MS., and Osceola, AR.; two great-grandchildren, Ainsley Brown, Witt Brown of Jonesboro, AR.; one brother W. B. Killough and wife Alice of Saint Charles, MO.; two brothers-in-law Bill Gibson of Jonesboro, AR., Quinn Brown and wife Millie of Datto, AR.; and one sister-in-law Mary Brown of Saint Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister Jane Gibson.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Charles Lewis and Josh Raspberry officiating. Service music will be provided by Janet Moore. Burial will follow the life celebration in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

Proudly serving as Pallbearers will be Truman Moore, Larry Green, Jack Howell, and her grandsons, Brandy Brown, J.A. Beall, and Oury Beall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
