Esther Tanner

Mrs. Esther Ethel Tanner, 93, of Biggers, AR., passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at home. Mrs. Tanner was born in Shirley, AR., on July 1, 1926. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Datto Missionary Baptist Church.

On March 30, 1974, she married Houston Tanner. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1992.

She is survivoed by her step-son Darrell Tanner of Ravenden Springs, AR.; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Ross C. and Maggie (Brummett) Pankey; brothers Wayne Pankey, Donald Pankey; sisters Maudie Mitchell, Annie Brewer, Agnes Brewer, and Bessie Peoples.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow the services at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno, AR. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
