Ethel Hudson

Ethel R. Hudson, 98, of Corning, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Corning Therapy and Living Center. Mrs. Hudson was born in Steele, MO., on August 17, 1924. She was retired from Johansen Brothers Shoe Factory in Corning. She enjoyed watching Cardinal Baseball. She was a member of Corning First Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughters Barbara (Jim) Caldwell of Corning, and Joyce Bahl of Festus, MO.; grandchildren Heather (Shane) Frost of Paragould, Mark Banks of Poplar Bluff, MO., and Kevin Wright of Saint Louis, MO.; five great-granddaughters; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Hudson, her parents James and Fannie Mae (Ursery) Hampton; twelve brothers and sisters.

A graveside memorial will be conducted Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning with Earl Ladyman officiating.
