Eula Mae Banks

Eula Banks, 96 of Hensley, formerly of Corning, passed away July 26, 2023 at home.

Mrs. Banks was born April 20, 1927 in Biggers. She was retired from Basler Electric and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was of the Baptist faith.

On April 10, 1947, she married W. C. “Bill” Banks. They were married 61 years prior to his passing on March 5, 2009.

Survivors include her sons Jim (Sarah) Banks of Hensley and Terry (Theresa) Banks of Athens; brother Clois Bentley of Machesney Park, IL; 4 grandchildren;13 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Joe Carl and Maude Beatrice (Reed) Bentley and brother Euell Bentley.

Visitation will be Saturday July 29, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Graveside service and burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Richwoods Cemetery Association.
