Euvila Parker

Euvila Parker, 99, of Corning, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Parker was born in Reyno, AR., on September 19, 1923. She was retired from Basler Electric; she was a homemaker and quilter. She enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening, cooking, listening to gospel music and reading her bible.

She married the love of her life James G. Parker on October 9, 1944 they enjoyed 57 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on April 5, 2002.

She is survived by her son Danny (Pam) Parker of Rutherford, TN., grandchildren; Pam (Tony) Roark, Lisa (William) Naney, Jodie (Robin) Parker, Heather Giamalva, Amy Parker Green, Brock (Sarah) Lowrance, Kirk (Emily) Lowrance, 16 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and three great-great-great-grandchildren and one more on the way.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters Donna Sells and Paulette Cochran; brother Jessie Lee Deckard; granddaughter Stephanie Sells and great-grandson Matthew Parker.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Simmons and Rev. Bill Meadors officiating. Burial will follow services at Corning Cemetery, Corning, AR.
