Eva Smart

Ms. Eva May Smart, 81, of Jonesboro, AR., our loving mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Saint Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Ms. Smart was born in McDougal, AR., on July 26, 1930 the daughter of James Finis "J.F." and Elta May (Young) Parrish. She was a homemaker and beautician. She enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Boydsville Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by the daughters she adored Karen Fisk, Janet Smart and Leanna Kay Smart all of Jonesboro, AR.; her grandson whom she was so proud of Richard Fisk, Jr. and wife Michelle of Trumann, AR.; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends all of them loved and cherished.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Aden and Harold Parrish; two sisters Marie Sullivan and Anna V. Smart.

Funeral services honoring a life well lived will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Leon Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
