Mrs. Evelyn Golda Bryant, 103, of Corning, AR., formerly of Upland, CA., passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Corning Therapy and Living Center. Mrs. Bryant was born in Dundee, OR., on July 16, 1913. She was a retired assembly worker for a lamp shade and rubber company. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Arlene Baxter of Corning, AR.; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Daniel Wesley White and John Bryant; parents Eugene Clark and Golda (Sheets) Gardner; son Elmer Lee White; brothers Elwin Gardner, Harold Gardner and sister Thelma Shumard.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Lavern Reed officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
