Mrs. Evelyn Beatrice Grayson, 86, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Grayson was born in Naylor, MO., on August 14, 1926. She was a newspaper carrier for the Daily American Republic for 25 years. She had also worked for Carter Carburetor and Johansen Shoe Factory. She enjoyed reading and attended the First Christian Church.
She married her husband Fred Grayson on January 10, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1988.
She is survived by one son Fred Grayson and wife Terry of Poplar Bluff, MO.; one daughter Kim Shelton and fiancé Kerry Isbell of Dexter, MO.; three grandchildren Brad Grayson, Lauren Shelton, Cory Shelton; and one great-grandchild Grayson Anglim.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents Ralph B. Moore and Stella (Woodard) Moore; and one brother J.B. Moore.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery in Corning.Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
