Everett Crossen, born on August 8, 1971, in Belleville, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home in Reyno, Arkansas, on December 26, 2025. He was a dedicated long-haul truck driver for many years before utilizing his exceptional skills as a forklift operator at PECO in Pocahontas. A proud veteran, Everett served his country as a member of the United States Army, embodying a strong sense of duty and dedication throughout his life.
Everett excelled in his education, earning Associates degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Automotive Technology, which served him well in his professional endeavors. Known for his kindness and generosity, he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, leaving behind a legacy of compassion that touched the lives of many.
Outside of work, Everett demonstrated a love for the outdoors and had a plethora of hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting sharks' teeth and rocks. He found joy in spending time around water and had a particular affection for all things related to pirate memorabilia, along with old jeeps and motorcycles.
Everett's legacy lives on through his children: Brittany (Frank) Wheeler of Success, Arkansas; Kiri (Aditya) Yandrathi of Greenville, Texas; Dakota Loggains of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Samantha Crossen of Pocahontas, Arkansas; Caylee (Paul) Crossen of Mabelvale, Arkansas; and Anthony Crossen of Pocahontas, Arkansas. He was also a beloved grandfather to Aden and Gwendolyn Wheeler and is remembered fondly by many relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Denzel Ray and Donna (George) Crossen, and his sisters, Hope Smith and Shelley Flanigan.
The family will honor Everett's memory with a visitation to be held on December 31, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ermert Funeral Home Inc, located at 1000 W Elm St, Corning, Arkansas, 72422. His remarkable spirit and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him will forever be cherished.
