Mrs. Faye Pierce, 87, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Pierce was born in Goreville, IL., on July 7, 1925. She was a cafeteria worker, mother, and wife. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was a member of House of Prayer in Corning, AR.
She married her husband Junior Pierce on February 3, 1945, he survives. Other survivors include three sons Richard Pierce and wife Joyce of Mountain Home, AR., Delbert Pierce and wife Karen of Poplar Bluff, MO., Randall Pierce of Corning, AR.; five daughters Judy Henderson of Corning, AR., Janet and husband Dale Cooper of Poplar Bluff, MO., Connie and husband Tom Hankins of Hardy, AR., Pam and husband John Anderson of Shreveport, LA., Becky and husband Chuck Wells of Corning, AR.; son-in-law Larry Gilbee of Paragould, AR.; twenty three grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and plenty of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otis and Mary (Jenkins) White; two daughters Teresa June Price, Donna Kay Gilbee; one grandson Timothy Mark Pierce; four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted will be Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
