Mrs. Floye Verdier, 94, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mrs. Verdier was born in Success, AR., on March 12, 1920. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
She married her husband of 55 years Roy Lee Verdier on December 7, 1935, he preceded her in death on August 10, 1991.
She is survived by two sons Dewayne Verdier of Dittmer, MO., Ronnie Verdier of Corning, AR.; one daughter Brenda Nenninger of Saint Louis, MO; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Adam and Ellen (Hart) Counts; one son Ricky Verdier; two brothers Elda Counts, Haskie Counts and one sister Ruth Long.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 12:00 PM at the Ermert Funeral Home.
