Frances "Panie" Sims

Frances Sims, 83, of Corning passed away July 25, 2023 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Mrs. Sims was a retired assembly worker. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her house and grandchildren, and going to church. She was a member of Corning Y Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her daughter Leigh (Terry) Smith of Corning; grandchildren Natalie (Jonathan) Bolden and Brantley Smith; great grandchild Maci Bolden; sister Dorothy (Ronnie) Brown; nephew Donnie (Janet) Howe; great niece DaRae (Ronnie) Roberts; and great nieces Ainsley and Adley.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Pop” Sims; mother Bertha Nipper; sister Wilma Howe; and brother-in-law Donald Howe.

The family will conduct a celebration of life Thursday June 29, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Oaks of NEA downtown 2nd Street in Corning.
