Mr. Freeman Benjamin Fann, 92, of Walnut Ridge, AR., passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge, AR. Mr. Fann was born in Reyno, AR., on September 12, 1926. He was a retired owner of a Dog-N-Suds Drive-In restaurant. He enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball and fishing. He proudly served his country WWll era as a member of the United States Army. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son Michael Chad Fann of Corning, AR.; two sisters Dorothy Thompson of Collinsville, IL., Marjorie Layman of Troy, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Benjamin “Ben” and Frankie (Pippin) Fann; seven siblings sisters Evy Thompson, Phena Hovis, Maxie Fann, Ruby Scates, Lloyd W. Fann, Pete Fann and Jack Fann.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Patrick Hovis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
