Frosty Debord

Frosty DeBord, 81, of Datto, AR., passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. DeBord was born September 18, 1940 in Datto, AR. He was a hard working and loving husband, daddy and grandpa. He was a truckdriver and farmer all of his life. He worked on the farm up to the last weeks of his life. Frosty enjoyed reading, working on John Deere tractors, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

On November 8, 1961, he married the love of his life, Barbara (Cooper) DeBord. They celebrated their 59 ^th wedding anniversary this past November. Other survivors include his children Lanna Akins of Lake Placid, FL., Shannon (Tim) Modlin of Pocahontas, AR., and Janna Pyle (Melvin Ausmus) of Doniphan, MO.; sister Ann Foster of Winfield, MO.; grandchildren Dominique, Megan, Logan, Brandon, Hunter, Tyler, and Alexa; great grandchildren Savannah, Madison, Gracie, Elizabeth, Bella, Alivia, Lakelyn, and Audra; and several other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Mildred (Schwinegruber) DeBord.

Pallbearers will be Johnny DeBord, Alvin Skimahorn, Donald Keeling, Michael Lane, Zach Brown, and Wade Schimming. Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Schimming, Bill Glisson, and Justin Pyle.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will be Saturday October 16, 2021 at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will be at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno.
