Garonda Stevens

Mrs. Garonda Gail Stevens, 69, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mrs. Stevens was born in Lafe, AR., on May 16, 1950. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning and taking care of her neighbors. She was of the Baptist faith.

She married he husband of 37 years Mr. Bobby Stevens on June 8, 1974. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2012.

She is survived by her son Matthew Steven of Charleston, MO.; daughter Brandy Stevens of Jonesboro, AR.; brothers and sisters Betty Bowers of Corning, AR., Doris Bell of Conway, AR., Jack Catt and wife Dee of Knoxville, TN., Larry Catt and wife Shirley of Corning, AR., Roger Catt of Imperial, MO., Shirley and husband William Flowers of Heber Springs, AR., Garry Catt of Arnold, MO., Dena and husband Bobby Dodd of Corning, AR.; sister-in-law Judy Catt of Corning, AR.; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents Dale Logan and Hazel Eliza (Hancock) Catt; bother Ronald Catt and two brothers-in-law Doin Bowers, Sr.; and Eugene Bell.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Corning Cemetery.
