Mr. Gary Robert Lee, 61, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center in Pocahontas. Mr. Lee was born in Bakersfield, CA., on February 28, 1951. Gary loved children, animals and music. He was Baptist in faith.
He is survived by one brother Fred Lee and wife Jane of Jonesboro, GA.; two sisters Cleather and husband Jonnie Hillenburg of England, AR., Marie and husband Gary McRee of Green Cove Springs, FL.; three nieces, nine nephews, three great-nieces, one great-nephew; three special friends Betty Harwell who felt Gary was special - not special needs, Rick Hayes who felt Gary was his little buddy, Valerie Bickford who cared for Gary very lovingly and the entire staff of Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center of which Doctor Alex Baltz said "...Gary sure does bring alot of joy to this place."
He was preceded in death by parents Earl William "E.W." and Mildred Mae (Morris) Lee; one brother William "Butch" Lee and sister Norma "Deanie" Lee.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the Corning Cemetery with Reverend Rusty Keltner officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
