Gary L. Thomas, 71, of Corning passed away August 6, 2023 at Evelyn's House in St. Louis, MO.

Mr. Thomas was born March 7, 1952 in Flint, MI. He was a retired road crew worker for the Jonesboro area. He enjoyed showing cars and attending car shows. Gary was an avid Razorback and NASCAR fan. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his daughter Raven Armstrong of Jonesboro; brother Curt Thomas of London, OH; sisters Ellen Bradley of Canyon, TX and Donna Thomas of Pocahontas; granddaughter Madisen Painter; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cleamon “Dock” Thomas and Ruby Alene (Smith) Gilbee; brother Cleatus Thomas; and sister Phyllis Gross.

A funeral service will be held Saturday August 12, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
