Gaylon Maddux

Gaylon Maddux, 73, of Williamsville, MO., passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Mr. Maddux was born May 18, 1949 in Hickoria, AR., the son of George W. and Dorris (Brinker) Maddux. He was retired. He enjoyed being a master auto body tech, truck driver, and painting cars. He loved fishing, talking on his CB and HAM Radio, off roading, and spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Christian faith.

On May 15, 1975, he married Janet Louise Maddux. They were married 38 years prior to her death on March 31, 2014.

Survivors include his children Garlon (Ronald) Maddux-Granger of Florida and Joharrah Altawil of Rotterdam, Netherlands; six grandchildren including Josiephina and Juliana-Lucia; sisters Erma Wadkins of California and Sherry Bannister of Doniphan, MO.; nephew Justin Wadkins; and many other loving family members and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Donald Ray Maddux and sister Brenda Wallace.

Visitation will be held in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the services at Maddux Cemetery near Boydsville, AR.
