Mrs. Genenda May Frakes, 88, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Belle Meade Healthcare in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Frakes was born in Corning, AR., on March 26, 1924. She was a retired hairdresser. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
She married her husband Warren G. Frakes on October 10, 1943. He preceded her in death.
She is survived are son Dwayne Frakes of Paragould, AR.; one sister Patricia and husband Nomick Uzsoy of Lynchburg, VA.; two nieces Ludena Whitehead, Shelbie Ellison; and sister-in-law Irene Nettle.
She was preceded in death by her husband Warren; parents William and Tressie (Fields) Nettle; and brother Eurskin Nettle.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
