Genita Verna Kinnard

Genita Kinnard, 96, of Caseyville, IL passed away November 27, 2020 at home in Caseyville.

Mrs. Kinnard was born February 10, 1924 in Supply. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

On June 10, 1942, she married Elmer Kinnard. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1990.

Survivors include her daughter Virginia (Ben) Campbell of Collinsville, IL; brother Leroy Rapert of Dupo, IL; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and special friend Mary Kinnard.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sons Lavon Kinnard and Elmer Kinnard Jr., parents Newton and Mirty Estell (Knowlton) Rapert, brother Milas Rapert and sisters Vivadean, Eunice and Imogene.

Visitation will be Sat. Dec. 5, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Baldwin. Burial will be at Hitt Cemetery near Success.
