George Green

Mr. George Allen Green, 56, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Green was born in Fremont, MI., on January 16, 1961. He was a mechanic, having worked many years for Corning Yamaha. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, playing with his grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.

He married his wife of 35 years Cathy Diane (Halcomb) Green on June 12, 1982. She survives, other survivors include his daughter Jennifer LeAnn (Green) Causey of Corning, AR.; two grandchildren Austin Causey and Autumn Causey of Corning, AR.; seven brothers and sisters Sally DeVries of Hasting, MI., Terry green and wife Ruth of Sunrise, AZ., Charlene and husband Ernie Craigmire of Las Vegas, NV., Flora and husband John Bitson of Grand Rapids, MI., Raelene and husband Mike Ager of Grant, MI., Curtis Green of Grand Rapids, MI., Cindy and husband Jim Hunt of Corning, AR., many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dale Woodrow and Mabil J. (Taylor) Green; and one daughter Ashley Marie Green.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow the services with Military Honors at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
