Georgie Householder

Georgie Householder, 89, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at home with her loving family by her bedside. Mrs. Householder was born April 19, 1933 in Qulin, MO. She was a homemaker who loved quilting, canning food, sewing, embroidery, liquid embroidery, and spending time with her family. She was a member of House of Prayer in Corning and enjoyed attending church.

In 1951, she married Reverend Edward Lee Householder. They were married 30 years prior to his death on April 29, 1982.

Survivors include her children Sharon (Kelly) Carpenter of Corning, AR., and Becky (David) Reed of Rogers, AR.; grandchildren Doug Householder, Sarah (Jamey) Bland, Jeremiah (Libby) Householder, Elizabeth (Uriah) Bufkin, Danielle Householder, Tanasha Householder, Amber (Derek) Stewart, Kirstie (Anthony) Page, T J Chaplain, Chelsea (Matt) Allen, Logan (Brianna) Carpenter, Caitlyn (Dustin) Leonard, Jessica (Brad) Hollinger and Cyndy Reed; 25 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law Glenda, Hassie and Marilyn Householder; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sons Marvin, Danny, and Eddie Joe Householder; father Orville Lee Forrest; mother and step-father Emma Gertrude (Reed) and Jesse Adams; brother Jack Forrest; and sister Ruby Rooker.

Graveside funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR., with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating.
