Geraldean Choate

Mrs. Carolyn Geraldean Choate, 74, of Knobel, AR., passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Choate was born in Stonewall, AR., on September 11, 1943. She worked in Nursing Homes as a Medical Level Technician, and she was a homemaker. She loved to read her Bible and take care of children. She was of Assembly of God faith.

She married her husband of 54 years Mr. Charles Choate on March 13, 1964. He survives, other survivor in include her children David Choate of DeSoto, MO., Belinda Choate of Bonne Terre, MO., Diane Choate of Alabama; her brothers Ernest Ray of Texarkana, AR., Charles Ray of Texarkana, AR., Clay Ray of  Texarkana, TX., Wade Ray of Texarkana, AR.; sisters Rose Fox of Knobel, AR., Pauline Payve of Knobel, AR., Lola Ray of Texarkana, TX.; nine grandchildren Drake, Paige, Jones, Chelise, Nina, Michael, Emerald, Cash and Mayola; six great-grandchildren Riley, Bryan, Camilynn, Abigail, Sophia and Jaxon.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Estalene (Brown) Ray; two sons Billy Choate, Doug Choate; and a brother Taylor Ray.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Marlin Ray officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
