Mrs. Geraldine Price, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Westwood Hills Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Price was born in Corning, AR., on Novemeber 23, 1929. She was a homemaker and a member of the Palatka Church of Christ in Palatka, AR.
She married her husband James Price, Jr. on April 9, 1949. He survives. Other survivors include three sons Jerry Price and wife DeLois of Success, AR., Bobby Price and wife Shelia of Corning, AR., Rick Price and wife Tammy of Corning, AR.; three daughters Wanda Sue Mullins of Rockford, IL., Peggy and husband Bill Reed of Corning, AR., Nancy and husband William Willcut of Naylor, MO.; two brothers Gordon Hicks of Huntsville, AL., Garland Hicks of Rockford, IL.; four sisters Wilma Lee Crow of Florissant, MO., Bernice Oxner of Success, AR., Erma Faye Eldridge of Loves Park, IL., Alma Smith of Loves Park, IL.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Gerald and Norma Lee (Lane) Hicks; and one sister Alta Marie Hicks.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Jon Fears officiating. Burial will follow the service at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Public visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2011 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
