Geraline Hancock

November 14, 1927 — August 9, 2020

Mrs. Geraline Hancock, 92, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at home. Mrs. Hancock was born in Knobel, AR., on November 14, 1927. Knobel. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family and was of the Pentecost faith.

On May 22, 1949, she married Edward Lee Hancock. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons Laney Hancock of Corning, AR., Ronnie Hancock of Corning, AR., Edward “Bud” Hancock of Corning, AR.; sisters Shirley and husband Jerry Bateman of Knobel, AR., and Virginia and husband John Tom Hancock of Knobel, AR.; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Clyde Edward and Minnie Ann (Poe) Alphin; and sister Janetta Curtis.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel with Milburn Teasley officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
