Geyvon Crest

Geyvon Crest, 63, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Crest was born January 2, 1961 in Jonesboro, AR. She worked for Sam & Sam’s in Corning, AR. Geyvon enjoyed bowling, sewing, and crafting. She enjoyed life and people and was of the Baptist faith.

On July 27, 2002, she married Mark Crest. They celebrated their 22nd anniversary earlier this year. Other survivors include her daughter Nadine Hughes of Black Rock, AR.; sister Dorsie (Jeff) White of Washington; grandchildren Destiny and Bethany Yancey, Layne, Dylan (Keely) and Noah Hughes; great-grandchild Paisleigh Jean; several nieces and nephews including, special nephew Taylor Bryson and niece Payton Morning; and sister-in-law Valerie Morning.

She was preceded in death by her son Mike Willfond; parents Roy and Marjorie (Pruett) Murphy; and brother Timothy Murphy.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the services at Duty Cemetery between Pocahontas & Walnut Ridge, AR.
