Glen Newsom

Mr. Glen Newsom, 78, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Mr. Newsom was born in Paragould, AR., on May 6, 1941. He was a car salesman who enjoyed arrowhead hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his children David Allen Anderson, Ricky Glen Newsom, Angela Newsom, Jeannie and husband Dewayne Bateman; his grandchildren Ashley Dodd, Kaley Abanatha, Logan Bateman and wife Erin, Greta Grammer; great-grandchildren Mason Callahan, Maddie Grammer, Caden McCants and Clinton McCants.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Katherine Newsom; parents Athel Ray and Zelma Louise (Smith) Newsom; brother James Ray Newsom; and grandson Daniel Abanatha.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
