Glenda Carter

Mrs. Glenda Pearl Carter, 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Carter was born in Rector, AR., on October 2, 1925. Mrs. Carter was a homemaker, she enjoyed quilting and was a member of Grassylead Church of Christ in Corning.

She married her husband J. C. Carter on June 12, 1948, he preceded her in death on September 12, 2006.

She is survived by one son Dennis Carter and wife Sandra of San Antonio, TX.; one daughter Janice and husband Jim Prater of Corning, AR.; two sisters Phyllis McKinney of Rockford, IL., Sandy Smith of Corning, AR.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband; one son James Dale Carter; parents Austin Cavenar and Grace (Carter) Cavenar; one brother Turner Cavenar and one sister Marion Huett.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Wednesday 12:30 PM until the time of service.
