Mrs. Glenda Fay Hendon, 86, of Saint Charles, MO., passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Charlevoix Healthcare Center Nursing Home in Saint Charles, MO. Mrs. Hendon was born in Peach Orchard, AR., on August 24, 1925. She was a homemaker.
She married her husband Thomas D. Hendon on June 20, 1939 in Knobel, AR. He preceded her in death on September 30, 1985.
She is survived by two daughters Wanda Hendon of Saint Charles, MO., Pamela Kohenskey of Troy, MO.; two grandchildren Charles Kohenskey, Christina Hendon and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Orville and Ethel (Tyler) Catt; two sons Orville Gale Hendon, Randall Hendon; three brothers Dale Catt, Glen Catt, JB Catt; two sisters Gladys Price, Lucille Carpenter; two grandchildren Larry Dean Kohenskey, Jr. and Randall Hendon, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday August 2, 2012 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Farrell Shay Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow the service in Pirtle Cemetery in Peach Orchard, AR. Vistation will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
