Michael Glenn Veach, 62, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Veach born February 8, 1961. He was a surveyor and truck driver. Glenn was a 1979 Graduate of Corning High School and was a good ole' Corning boy up until his death. His true loves were his children, his friends and family, playing pool, and pretty ladies. Glenn was a part of the National Rifle Association and the Sons of the Confederacy. He was an avid hunter and loved spending his days at his family's land in Hardy, AR.
Survivors include his children Mandy (John) Leible of Sikeston, MO., and Michael (Haley) Veach of Carterville, IL.; father Jimmy (Janie) Veach of Manila, AR.; sisters Missy (Russell) Curnutt of Poplar Bluff, MO., and Nancy (Jeff) Jarrell of Dudley, MO.; grandchildren Rhett and Remi-Kate Leible and Sloane Veach; nieces and nephews Brandy (Thad) King, Jonathan (Amanda) Guite, and Taylor (Natalie) Jarrell all of Dexter, MO., Anthony (Dustie) Curnutt and Rusti (Jesse) Russom both of Poplar Bluff, MO., Mariah Susane Burkhart of Horn Lake, MS., and Tyler Gaines of Columbia, SC.; and several great nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Jackson Veach; maternal grandparents James Farmer and Linnie Virginia Jackson; paternal grandparents Roy and Letha Jane Veach; and his longtime love, Jamie Lynn Forrester.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to be made in Glenn's honor to the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E Matthews Ave., Jonesboro, AR 72401.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
