Gloria G. Dearing

Mrs. Gloria G. Dearing, age 92, of Saint Helen, MI., passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at The Villa at West Branch, in West Branch, MI. Mrs. Dearing was born in Saint Louis, MO., on April 21, 1927 the daughter of the late Fred and Mae (Eaker) Wright. She lived the last ten years in Saint Helen, MI., she had formerly lived in Burton, MI.,  and Corning, AR. She was a secretary for Dearing Electric, a business her late husband Howard started, for over 30 years in Corning. They moved to Burton to continue the business before Howard passed away in 1994. Gloria was a member of the Eastgate Baptist Church in Burton, MI., and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Gloria is survived by her son Steven Dearing; her daughter Sherry and husband Tom Mawdesley; five grandchildren Matthew, Brock, Scott, Wade, Eric and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Howard Dearing and parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Warren and her sister Trish Ann.

Private family graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Corning Cemetery.
