Grant Robertson

Mr. Grant Bryan Robertson, 82, of Tallahassee, FL., formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at home. Mr. Robertson was born near Piggott in Carryville, AR., on March 23, 1933. He was a produce manager at Wallace and Owens, IGA, and Rorex Foods. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed collecting rocks, panning for gold, and camping. He ministered at Ring Church and also in Attica, AR.

He married his wife of 57 years Charlene (Herren) Robertson on April 18, 1958. She survives, other survivors include three daughters Tami and husband Jay Jewell, Heather and husband Ernie Fields, Holly and husband Glenn Guthrie; one sister Helen and husband Bob Lewis; five grandchildren Austin, Jessica, Courtney, Kaitlyn, Jillian; three great-great-grandchildren Peter, Madison and Harry.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Marion and Nettie La’Gertrude (Berry) Robertson; Four brother Jack Robertson, Bill Robertson, John Robertson, Jess “Mack” Robertson and one sister Laska Calvert.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kent Modlin officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow the services at Williams Cemetery near Corning, AR. Visitation will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
