Mrs. Guynneth Marguaree (Johnson) Nelson was born October 27, 1924 in Success, AR., to Everett Lee and Bertha (Kuntz) Johnson. She departed from this life Tuesday, June 20,2017 at Saint Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro, AR., at the age of 92.

Mrs. Nelson was a Christian and member of the General Baptist Church in Corning, AR., where she played the piano until she was 88 years old. She was owner and operator of Hastings Grocery in Moark, AR., as well as the Moark Postmaster. She also worked at Johansen Shoe Factory, Carter Carburetor and Leonard's Grocery before retiring. She loved to paint, play golf, garden, and play the piano.

She is survived by a daughter Pam Carlisle and husband Wayne of Jonesboro, AR.; one grandson Dr. Matt Carlisle and wife Andrea of Benton, AR.; two great-grandchildren Raegan and Spencer Carlisle of Benton, AR.; two step-children Cathy Nelson and husband Danny of Pacific, MO., Brad Nelson and wife Dawn of Imperial, MO.; four sisters Celesta Allen and Darlene Hambrick both of Reyno, AR., Fletta Brewer and husband Don of Corning, AR., Debbie Wilkerson and husband Arnold of Springfield, MO.; one brother Joe Johnson of Paragould, AR.; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother Lola Johnson; husbands Ted Hastings of Moark, AR., Ralph Nelson of Imperial, MO.; two sisters Imodene Mason and husband Bud of Kalamazoo, Ml., Laverda Maple and husband Leon of Corning, AR.; three brothers General Johnson of Doniphan, MO., Ladoin Johnson of Reyno, AR., DeWayne Johnson of Poplar Bluff, MO.; brothers-in-law Hubert Allen and Bill Hambrick both of Reyno, AR.; and a nephew Darris Hambrick of Reyno, AR.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Moark Cemetery in Moark, AR. Visitation will held Saturday, June 24 2017 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Mrs. Nelson's family request that lasting memorials be made to Moark Cemetery Association.
