Hallie Phillips

Mrs. Hallie Mildred Phillips, 91, of Benton, KY., formerly of Kincaid, IL., and Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benton, KY. Mrs. Phillips was born in Datto, AR., on March 6, 1925. She a was a member of the Corning Church of Christ for over 52 years and was a beautician for over 40 years.

She married her husband of 76 years Mr. Donald James Phillips on April 17, 1943. He survives, other survivors are her two sons Jack Phillips and wife Michaella of Gilbertsville, KY., Jim Phillips and wife Margaret of Kincaid, IL.; four grandchildren Jerree Phillips Harris and husband Ron, Margaret Phillips Darnall and husband David, Joshua Phillips and wife Janette, Nathan Phillips and wife Whitney.; six great-grandchildren Hailey, Cloe, Levi, Joel, Evan, Bria; several nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Silas Nathan and Anna Elizabeth (Hays) Jackson; two sisters Pearl Hedge, Beulah Allen and brother Wilburn Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 14, 2016 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Phillips, Jim Phillips and Joshua Phillips officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitations will held Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Filbeck-Cann and King Funeral Home in Benton, KY., and Friday, October 14, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at Ermert Funeral Home.
