Mrs. Hallie Reeves, 86, of Jonesboro, AR., passed away Friday, March 27, at home. Mrs. Reeves was born in Acorn, MO., on April 30, 1928. She worked as a Custodian for East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking. She was Pentecostal in faith.
She married her husband of 32 years Jeffrey M. Reeves on January 31, 1946, he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1978.
She is survived by eight children Evelyn Marshall of Jonesboro, AR., Darrel Reeves of Amite City, LA., Charlotte Huskey of Ravenden Springs, AR., Jimmy Reeves of Newport, AR., Joyce Jenkins of Jonesboro, AR., Bonnie Reeves of Jonesboro, AR., Jeffery Reeves of Jonesboro, AR., Dana Reeves of Jonesboro, AR.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Jim D. and Lillie Victoria (Dupouis)) Ruff; daughter Debra Valentine; grandson Keith Marshall; several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marvin Marshall officiating. Burial will follow the services at Black Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
